“The spirit (conscience) of man is the lamp of the Lord,
searching and examining all the innermost parts of his being.”

Men,
empirically preoccupied with, and giving preeminence to,
the progression of their lives,
will extinguish candles on a birthday cake,
but neglect to ignite the eternal fire on the candle of their spirits!
While the Light of the Lord emanates from within,
the actions of the Lord are demonstrated from without.
You were (re)created to reveal the will of God.
But when you search your innermost being, what did you discover?
Was it full of light, or has darkness overtaking it?
And how can you demonstrate the acts of God
if the works of the enemy lurk within?
A man’s spirit is like an unlit candle (lamp),
but the Spirit of the Almighty is an eternal flame.
There is a reason why the Lord has His Spirit residing you!
You are to be a resplendent spirit,
radiating the beauty and glory of the Lord!
This neither a man’s will,
nor his flesh, can accomplish!
Why, oh man, do you focus on that which is temporary and probationary,
and not that which is immortal and perpetual?
For on the outside you observe the ravages of advancing age:
the dimming of the eyes, the sagging of the skin,
the graying of the hair, and the walk slows down.
But on the inside, neglected and often unobserved,
there resides a perpetual “child-like” Spirit,
who lives unrestricted, without limitations, the extension of the Creator!
Why, then, would one focus on the temporary at the expense of the eternal?
Would it not be more beneficial to acknowledge that which is eternal,
and live the highest Life?
Therefore, seek the highest life!
Seek the life that lives forever and ever,
without limits, borders, restrictions, or hindrances!
Imagine living a life
constantly connected to and elatedly dancing in
the glorious light of God, who is our eternal Creator!
It is already within you,
now release the beauty of the Spirit that lives within you!
Let the world see the glory of God in you!
